A – Accept not gifts without Pastor’s knowledge

B – Boast not – “The most difficult secret for a man to keep is the opinion he has of himself”

C – Counsel not saints

D – “Drink not, nor talk with your mouth full.”

E – “Every winner has scars” – “Failure is only the opportunity to more intelligently begin again.”

F – Flexibility – “When in Rome do as the Romans” (1 Cor. 9:22)

G – Get involved in the service – “Sow much reap much, sow little reap little.”

H – Have a thankful heart

I – “It’s not the situation… It’s your reaction to the situation.”

J – “Judge not, lest ye be judged.”

K – “Keep alive in your breast that little celestial fire called conscience” (Let your conscience be your guide)

L – “Let your reactions to man be manful, not sinful.” (Matt. 5:39)

M – Manners – Social contact and behavior

N – Never belittle your calling

O – Order only food you will eat

P – “Put not another bit into your mouth till the former be swallowed.”

Q – Quit complaining – “Let us choose to believe something good can happen”

R – Respect the pastor’s time

S – “Speak not evil of the absent, for it is unjust” (If you talk of others, they will talk of you)

U – Use wisdom in your actions. (Actions speak louder than words)

V – Volunteer to help – “The price of greatness is responsibility.”

W – Whisper not the affairs of others

X – eXpect great things from your ministry

Y – “You can’t make wrong work.” (Timing and Tuning)

Z – Zenrin said, “If you wish to know the road up the mountain, as the man who goes back and forth on it.” (Have a teachable Spirit.)
