Thy Word Have I Hid In My Heart

Psalm 119:11 “Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against you…”

The word of God, resident in the hearts of men, creates a relationship with Him that keeps them from sin.

John 1:1 tells us, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” v. 14 says, “and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.”

David’s Psalm was a prophetic declaration. If Jesus is the Word, perhaps we can read Psalm 119:11 like this…

“Jesus have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against you…”

Have you hid Jesus in yours?

Colossians 1:27 says, “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”
